Hello everyone and welcome to this first post-campaign update. Every month we
will send an update on the production of the PGB-1 until we ship all the units
in January.
I am running a crowdfunding campaign for an open-source pocket digital
groovebox called the
PGB-1.
It’s an all-in-one instrument, that means you can program and play songs only
using this device and nothing else (see the demo
here).
Hello, we first want to thank everyone for your amazing initial response!
Funding is well underway, and we got amazing feedback at the SynthFest France
event last week.
We are happy to announce that the PGB-1 crowdfunding campaign is now live on
Crowd
Supply!
This marks the beginning of an exciting journey, and we invite you to be a part
of it from the start.
If you are reading these lines, you may be familiar with the concept of Gear
Acquisition Syndrome (GAS). A person’s insatiable urge to buy equipment for
their art or hobby, distracting them from actually practicing said art or
hobby.
A few weeks ago I started my own
re-write of a digital audio
synthesis library. I took on this project not to reinvent the wheel, but to
understand how this wheel works. Here I want to share some of the things I
learned in the process.
